Plans for the 2017 Hemingford Abbots Flower Festival are very well advanced and this year's event promises a truly memorable day (or two for those opting for a weekend programme) for visitors.  The Festival will be held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June with gardens open from 12 noon to 6pm.   The talented village Flower Guild are busily planning their church floral displays which will interpet this year's theme "Jerusalem".  Church events and music will also reflect this theme.

In addition to our beautifully decorated and music filled church visitors will be able to meander through more than 20 open gardens of differing shapes and sizes each offering something special to enjoy.  Several of the open gardens are also refreshment venues where a much appreciated and well deserved cup of tea and slice of homemade cake can be taken at leisure.

A wide selection of entertainment and attractions including historic cars and motorcycles; morris dancers, brass bands, exhibitions, plant and book stalls have been arranged for your enjoyment.

Please take a moment to look at the selection of photographs captured during the 2015 Festival for your interest.

The Flower Festival is a non-commercial event, run by the village. All proceeds go towards the conservation and repair of the village church – St Margaret of Antioch.
